Privacy Policy

StartFlow ("we", "us") is a personal daily planner. We believe your planning data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Account identifier. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name. We do not receive your Apple password.
• Your planning data. The categories, tasks, habits, daily plans, streaks, and reflections you create in the app. This is stored on your device and synced to our server so it is available across your devices.
• Basic technical logs. Standard server logs (such as request timing and error information) used to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

• To provide the app's core features and sync your data across your devices.
• To keep the service reliable, secure, and free of abuse.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your planning content for advertising.
• We do not share your data with third parties except service providers strictly needed to operate the app (for example, our hosting and database provider, and — only when you use the AI features — our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes a summary of your planning data to generate responses; it is encrypted in transit, we do not store the exchange, and it is not used to train their models), or where required by law.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Library → Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and everything in it — on your device and on our servers, including any profiles you have shared — and cannot be undone.

If you can no longer sign in (for example, you have lost access to your Apple ID), email support@startflowapp.com and we will delete the account for you once we have confirmed it is yours.

Security

Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to stored data is restricted to operating the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

StartFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
