Terms of Use
Last updated: July 25, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Productive Mark LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Productive Mark", "we", "us"), the developer and operator of the StartFlow app and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using StartFlow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms act as the end user license agreement ("EULA") for the app. They are concluded between you and Productive Mark only — not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for it.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use StartFlow on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (except that the app may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing, where available). You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent the law permits despite this restriction.
2. Free trial and subscriptions
- Free trial. New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the full app, starting when the account is created. The trial does not require payment information and does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. When it ends, continued use of the app requires a subscription; your data remains stored and is available again when you subscribe.
- Subscriptions. StartFlow Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription (billed monthly or yearly) purchased through your Apple account. Current prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access for the period already paid.
- Price changes. If a subscription price changes, Apple will notify you and, where required, seek your consent before charging the new price.
- Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies (see Apple's billing support). We cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
3. Your content
The categories, tasks, habits, plans, reflections, and other content you create in StartFlow belong to you. You grant us the limited license needed to store, sync, back up, and display that content to you in order to operate the Service. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data.
4. AI features
StartFlow may offer AI-powered features (such as the AI Advisor) that generate suggestions from the planning data you provide. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation — it is provided for informational purposes only, and you are responsible for evaluating it before acting on it.
5. Not medical advice
StartFlow is a productivity and planning tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical or mental-health advice, and is not a diagnosis, treatment, or therapy for ADHD or any other condition. Using StartFlow does not create a clinician–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with questions about a medical condition.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to breach its security, disrupt its operation, access other users' data, circumvent subscription requirements or usage limits, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Shared profiles and objectionable content
StartFlow lets you publish a routine as a shared profile at a public link. Anything you publish this way can be seen by anyone who has the link, so please only share what you're comfortable making public. You are responsible for the content you publish, and you must have the right to share it.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour in shared profiles. Do not publish content that is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, defamatory, illegal, or that promotes self-harm, and do not use shared profiles for spam, scams, or advertising.
Every shared profile page carries a Report this profile link, which anyone can use without an account. We review reports and remove profiles that break these rules; a profile that receives multiple reports is hidden automatically while we review it. We may take down any shared profile and block any account from sharing, at our discretion and without notice. Removal decisions can be appealed by emailing support@startflowapp.com.
8. Maintenance and support
We — not Apple — are solely responsible for the app and for any maintenance and support. Questions and support requests: support@startflowapp.com. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services for the app.
9. Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent any warranty exists under law that cannot be disclaimed, we — not Apple — are solely responsible for it. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app, and any other warranty claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
10. Product claims
We — not Apple — are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of it, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the app fails to conform to an applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
11. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, design, and branding, but excluding your content — is owned by Productive Mark and protected by intellectual-property laws. In the event of a third-party claim that the app or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights, we — not Apple — are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of the claim.
12. Legal compliance
You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You must also comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app (for example, your wireless carrier's data agreement).
13. Termination
You can stop using StartFlow and request deletion of your account and data at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law) survive.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Productive Mark will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived by contract.
15. Apple as third-party beneficiary
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not subject to a mandatory consumer forum will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction whose laws grant you mandatory rights or a local forum, those rights are unaffected.
17. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription.
